BASF Environmental Catalysts and Metals Solutions (ECMS) recently signed an agreement with ZeroAvia, a leading company in the field of commercial aviation zero-emission propulsion system solutions, in which ECMS will provide its Celtec® membrane electrode assembly (MEA) components and collaborate on the development of next-generation membrane electrodes for ZeroAvia's world-leading high-temperature proton exchange membrane (HT-PEM) fuel cell stacks, to accelerate the commercialization process of high-power lightweight membrane electrodes. In addition, the two parties will also reach a long-term membrane electrode supply agreement, including the supply and procurement of platinum group metals (PGMs) and platinum group metal catalysts, complete packaging services, aiming to optimize the relevant components and materials, enhance the overall performance of HT-PEM, and achieve the goal of "going to the sky".
