The average operating rate of die-casting zinc alloy manufacturers was 47.87% last week, up 8.27 percentage points. Raw material inventories increased due to low zinc prices and stockpiling after Labour Day holiday. Production resumptions after the holiday lifted the overall operating rate noticeably.
However, it is worth noting that due to several rounds of declines in zinc prices in April, the enthusiasm for terminal procurement has been stimulated. Therefore, the new orders of die-casting zinc alloy enterprises did not perform well. In view of the off-season and market pessimism over consumption, the average operating rate of die-casting zinc alloy manufacturers will fall this week.
