Six Major Japanese Automakers Sell 1.24 Million Units of New Cars in the US in Q1 2023, up 1.6% YoY

On April 3, six major Japanese car dealers announced the sales of new cars in the US in the first quarter of 2023, totalling 1.24 million units, up 1.6% over the same period last year. As the raw material supply stabilised, the sales of four companies including Honda and Nissan Motor rose. Honda vehicle sales rose 6.8% to 284,507 units.
