Average Operating Rate of Blast Furnaces at Steel Mills Rose

SHANGHAI, Mar 28 (SMM) - The average operating rate of blast furnaces at steel mills rose 0.30 percentage point from a week ago to 93.46% as of March 22, SMM survey showed. The capacity utilisation rate rose 0.35 percentage point from a week ago to 94.23%. Operating rates across 34 EAF mills of construction steel in China stood at 60.32% as of March 21, up 1.44 percentage points in the range of previous week. The capacity utilisation rate rose 1.32 percentage points to 63.04%.
