Output and Sales of NEVs in Feb Rose

SHANGHAI, Mar 22 (SMM) - NEVs sales totalled 525,000 units in February, up 55.9% year on year. The output and sales of NEVs in February stood at 552,000 units and 525,000 units respectively, an increase of 48.8% and 55.9% year-on-year respectively, with a market penetration rate of 26.6%. The output and sales of NEVs in January-February stood at 977,000 units and 933,000 units respectively, an increase of 18.1% and 20.8% year-on-year respectively, with a market penetration rate of 25.7%. In terms of exports, in February 2023, 87,000 new energy vehicles were exported, an increase of 5.3% month-on-month, and a year-on-year increase of 79.5%; from January to February 2023, 170,000 new energy vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 62.8%.
