Daily Output at Key Steel Mills Increases 0.57% MoM to 1.94 million mt in Mid-January

In mid-January, key steel enterprises produced a total of 19.37 million mt of crude steel, 17.83 million mt of pig iron, 18.11 million mt of finished steel. The average daily output of crude steel, pig iron and steel stood at 1.94 million mt, 1.78 million mt and 1.81 million mt per day, respectively during this period, up 0.57%, 1.29% and 0.22% on the month, respectively. Steel inventory of these key steel enterprises totalled 16.07 million mt, an increase of 7.94% or 1.18 million mt over the previous 10-day period and 0.49% or 78,800 mt over the same period last month.
