SHFE Nickel Prices Fell and Spot prices Declined

SHANGHAI, Sep 23 (SMM) - In the spot market, on September 23, the premiums of Jinchuan nickel were quoted at 3,000-3,500 yuan/mt, with an average price of 3,250 yuan/mt, down flat from the previous trading day. NORNICKEL nickel premiums was quoted at 1,500-1,800 yuan/mt, and the average price was 1,650 yuan/mt, down 300 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. As the premiums continued to decline, the spot prices fell by about 5,000 yuan/mt today, but the market transactions were thin. In terms of nickel briquette, the price of nickel briquette was 194,700-195,700 yuan/mt, down 5,250 yuan from yesterday. As the economy effectiveness of nickel briquette weakened, the transaction of nickel briquette was poor.
