Pilbara will hold its third auction of lithium concentrate on October 26th, and industry insiders point out that the auction price may hit a new high.
On Sept. 14, (BMX), a battery materials exchange owned by Pilbara, announced the price of the second auction of spodumene concentrate at $2240 per tonne, up 79.20 per cent from the result of the first auction of $1250 per tonne. The auction price is much higher than the market estimate of $1700 to $2000 per ton.

The subsidiary of Sichuan Energy Power Co., Ltd. holds the mining right of Lijiagou spodumene mine in Jinchuan County, Sichuan Province. Lijiagou spodumene mine 1.05 million tons / year mining and separation project is under construction. The project is the largest spodumene mine in China so far.
Yongxing material has a resource reserve that can support the annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate after the second phase is put into production.
