Sales of 2171 road rollers increased by 32.9% in May 2020

SMM: according to the statistics of 22 major production enterprises of road rollers by the pavement and compaction machinery branch of China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 2171 road rollers were sold in May 2020, a synchronous increase of 538, an increase of 32.9%. In May, a total of 8573 road rollers were sold, an increase of 158units over the same period last year, an increase of 1.88%.

Among all kinds of machinery of road rollers, 65 static rollers were sold in that month, accounting for 2.99% of the total sales in that month, an increase of 31 sets, an increase of 91.2%; 259 sets of tire rollers in that month, accounting for 11.9% of the total sales in that month, an increase of 88 sets, an increase of 51.5% over the same month; and 615 mechanical single steel wheels in the month, accounting for 28.3% of the total sales in that month, an increase of 155 sets, an increase of 33.7%. There were 486 hydraulic single steel wheels in the month, accounting for 22.4% of the total sales in that month, an increase of 72 sets over the same period last year, an increase of 17.4%; 242 double steel wheel rollers in the month, accounting for 11.1% of the total sales in that month, an increase of 26 sets, an increase of 12% over the same month; 488 light road rollers in the month, accounting for 22.5% of the total sales in that month, and an increase of 153 sets, an increase of 45.7% over the same period last year. There were 16 other road rollers in that month, accounting for 0.74% of the total sales in that month, an increase of 13 sets, or 43.3%, over the same period last year.

In May 2020, domestic sales of road rollers were 1966, an increase of 582 units over the same period last year, an increase of 42.1%. Domestic sales accounted for 90.6% of the total sales, an increase of 5.81% over the same period last year.

From January to May, the domestic sales of road rollers totaled 7208, an increase of 0.8 per cent over the same period last year.

In May, 205 road rollers were exported, accounting for 9.44% of the total sales in that month, down 44 sets from the same period last year, or 17.7%. Among the export models: static rollers (2) accounted for 0.98% of the month's exports; tire rollers (11) accounted for 5.37% of the month's exports; mechanical single steel wheel rollers (69) accounted for 33.7% of the month's exports; hydraulic single steel wheel rollers (63) accounted for 30.7% of the month's exports; double steel wheel rollers (11) accounted for 5.37% of the month's exports; Light road rollers (37) accounted for 5.85% of the month's exports.

A total of 1365 road rollers were exported from January to May, an increase of 101units or 7.99 percent over the same period last year.
