Zinc social inventories rebounded 2,800 mt over weekend

SHANGHAI, Dec 16 (SMM) – Social inventories of refined zinc across Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong and Hebei stood at 118,100 mt as of Monday December 16, up 2,800 mt from Friday December 13 but down 3,300 mt from Monday December 9, showed SMM data.

Concentrated arrivals and limited deliveries bolstered stocks in Tianjin over the weekend. This, coupled with moderate gains in other regions, led to the increase in overall inventories, which was partially offset by a decline in Zhejiang where saw limited arrivals and stable deliveries.

As of December 16, social inventories of refined zinc across Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangdong increased 4,800 mt from last Friday.
