ILZSG: global supply gap for refined zinc narrowed in May

SMM7, 16 March: global refined zinc production rose slightly to 1.12 million tons in May, down from 1.15 million tons in the same period last year, according to the official website of the International lead and Zinc Research Organization (ILZSG).

So the global supply gap for refined zinc narrowed in May compared with April and March.

Global refined lead production in May was 966400 tons, while consumption was 953000 tons, down from April.
