Dec exports of unwrought aluminium, semis rise 20.1% YoY

SHANGHAI, Jan 24 (SMM) – China exported 530,000 mt of unwrought aluminium and aluminium products in December, up 20.1% from December 2017, showed China Customs data released on Wednesday January 23. 

This pulled up overall exports of unwrought aluminium and aluminium products in 2018 by 20.9% on the year, to 5.8 million mt. 

The export value for December stood at 9.95 billion yuan, up 16.7% from a year earlier.
