【SMM PV News】NEA: Q1 New PV Capacity Hits 41.19GW; Renewables Exceed 60% of Total

According to the National Energy Administration, as of the end of March, China's cumulative renewable energy capacity reached 2.395 TW, up 22% YoY, accounting for 60.4% of total capacity. PV capacity stood at 1.241 TW. In Q1, 58.93 GW of new renewable capacity was added, making up 70% of total additions. This includes 41.19 GW of new PV and 15.77 GW of new wind capacity, further strengthening green power supply capabilities.

On April 28, Guangdong Province officially released the Outline of its 15th Five-Year Plan.
