【SMM Flash News】KEPCO KPS Partners with PLN NPS for Indonesia Power Plant Upgrades
South Korean maintenance expert KEPCO KPS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PLN NPS, a subsidiary of Indonesia’s state utility PLN, to collaborate on power plant performance improvements. Signed in Jakarta on February 24, 2026, the agreement focuses on the retrofit and rehabilitation of aging thermal power plants across Indonesia. By combining KEPCO KPS’s advanced diagnostic and maintenance technologies with PLN NPS’s 20 GW operational footprint, the partnership aims to enhance energy efficiency and support Indonesia’s carbon reduction goals. This move follows KEPCO KPS's broader strategy to expand its overseas O&M (Operation and Maintenance) business, particularly in aging infrastructure markets.
