LiDAR maker LiangDao Intelligence closes new funding round

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Recently, LiDAR solution developer LiangDao Intelligence announced the completion of a new funding round, co-led by China Merchants Capital and E-Town Capital. The funds raised will be directed towards key LiDAR technologies, new perception functionalities, and data toolchain development, as well as 3D perception-based digital solutions for various applications.

This investment aims to strengthen LiangDao's integrated hardware and software perception system, enhancing its ability to provide safer and more comfortable intelligent driving experiences for customers.

Since its establishment in China and Germany in 2017, LiangDao Intelligence has been dedicated to innovation and breakthroughs in intelligent driving technology, following a Sino-German collaborative development strategy. Over six years of global R&D and practice, the company has steadily built comprehensive perception system service capabilities. LiangDao's product line spans LiDAR hardware and functionality development, perception data training, and smart city solutions, delivering high-quality products and technical services to numerous leading automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, and industry clients worldwide.

In Europe, LiangDao boasts a team of nearly 100 automotive engineers focused on the localization of intelligent driving functionalities. By leveraging a data-driven closed-loop perception training system, LiangDao Intelligence has secured several mass production project orders from European automakers. Since 2023, the company has been actively expanding its overseas intelligent driving function testing and engineering services, supporting the global development of China's automotive industry. Currently, LiangDao Intelligence collaborates with multiple car manufacturers to conduct intelligent driving function tests in Europe.

As business and market demands grow, LiangDao has also initiated another round of financing to support further development and innovation.
