JAC Group scores 52.03% YoY surge in Apr. auto exports

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In April 2024, JAC Group sold 31,896 vehicles, which dropped 12.95% year on year, according to the automaker’s announcement on May 8.

Of the vehicles sold in the past month, 2,415 units were new energy passenger vehicles (NEPVs), representing a 10.58% jump from a year ago.

In the first four months of this year, JAC Group’s cumulative sales volume amounted to 138,765 vehicles, down 7.34% compared to that of the previous year. In the Jan.-Apr. period, the automaker’s NEPV sales surged 35.03% year over year to 8,041 units.

In the commercial vehicle sector, JAC Group experienced a 1.03% year-on-year sale growth in April, which stood at 20,664 units. Year-to-date sales of the group’s commercial vehicle arm rose 10.64% to 88,611 units in total. 

In the overseas market, JAC Group also boasts prominent results. In April, JAC Group’s auto export volume reached 18,273 vehicles, indicating a 52.03% spike year-on-year. In the first four months of this year, JAC Group exported a total of 75,858 vehicles to overseas markets, which climbed 30.38% from a year ago.
