ARCFOX boasts 138% YoY surge in 2023 annual sales volume

Beijing (Gasgoo)- BAIC Group’s new energy vehicle branch, BAIC BJEV, unveiled impressive sales figures for December 2023, with 20,815 units sold, contributing to a yearly total of around 92,000 units, marking an outstanding 84% year-on-year spike.

The subsidiary's electric vehicle brand, ARCFOX, stood out, accumulating a robust annual sales figure of 30,016 units, showcasing a remarkable 138% year-on-year soar. Additionally, BAIC BJEV’s BEIJING brand sold 62,156 electric vehicles throughout the year of 2023, demonstrating a notable 66% surge from that of the previous year.

As a pivotal high-end brand under BAIC BJEV, ARCFOX introduced five models in 2023, including the αS HI Edition, the αS and αT Forest Edition, the ARCFOX KAOLA, and the α T5.

Among these, the α T5 officially hit the market on December 27, 2023, presenting four variants within a price range of 155,800 yuan to 199,800 yuan.

BAIC BJEV is employing a two-pronged strategy of pursuing overseas market opportunities while emphasizing a "scenario-based" approach. On October 9, 2023, ARCFOX signed a partnership agreement with Bin Omeir Holding Group Limited, an enterprise based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This agreement paves the way for BAIC BJEV’s ARCFOX premium electric vehicle brand to venture into the expansive Middle Eastern markets, specifically targeting the UAE and Saudi Arabia with its premium electric vehicle models.
