On January 3, the main contract of lithium carbonate 2401 continued to rise by 1.18%. According to data, the main contract of lithium carbonate 2401 opened at 154,500 yuan/ton and closed at 156,850 yuan/ton, with a trading volume of 327,453 lots and an open interest of 85,077 lots, a decrease of 2,773 lots from the previous trading day. SMM's spot price for battery-grade lithium carbonate was 93,000-100,800 yuan/ton, with an average price of 96,900 yuan/ton, unchanged from the previous working day. The 2401 contract opened slightly lower today at 101,000 before quickly rebounding and steadily rising after a brief downward trend at the opening. It then stabilized for a period of time before a significant increase, followed by fluctuation and stabilization until the close, ultimately rising by 1.18%.
