Changqing New Energy Lithium Battery Recycling Phase II Project Put into Operation
On December 29th, the completion and production ceremony of the second phase project of Changqing New Energy in Fujian was held. The total investment of the Changqing New Energy Phase II project is 2.308 billion yuan, covering an area of 216 acres. The project includes battery disassembly workshops, leaching workshops, extraction workshops, precursor workshops, warehouses, environmental protection workshops, and other supporting facilities. The project's production capacity can achieve comprehensive utilization of 40,000 tons/year of waste lithium batteries and produce 30,000 tons/year of power-type ternary precursor.
After the Phase II project is put into operation, Changqing New Energy's annual processing capacity for waste lithium batteries and annual production capacity for ternary precursors will both reach 50,000 tons.
