Nine departments: Increase the investment of high-quality goods to support new energy vehicles, green smart home appliances, green building materials and furniture, and home decoration going to the countryside

The General Office of nine departments including the Ministry of Commerce issued a notice on the issuance of the Three-year Action Plan for County Commerce (2023-2025). It refers that we should increase the supply of quality products, give full play to the big data advantages of e-commerce platforms, carry out consumption data analysis and application in accordance with laws and regulations, and guide manufacturers to produce more marketable goods for rural markets. We will continue to support new energy vehicles, green smart home appliances, green building materials, and furniture going to rural areas. Besides, we should accelerate the construction of rural electricity charging and replacement facilities, improve the after-sales recycling service network, and promote the upgrading of rural commodity consumption. And we also will encourage the formation of county retailers alliances that purchase goods from manufacturers and brand suppliers to solve the problems of chaotic purchase channels and weak bargaining ability of small and medium-sized enterprises. Through these, we can improve product quality and reduce procurement costs for them.
