The Social Inventory of Lead Ingots Increased by Nearly 10,000 mt due to the Increase in Supply and the Approaching Delivery Date

SHANGHAI, July 8 (SMM) – As of July 8, SMM total social inventories of lead ingots across five regions increased to 93,700 mt, up 9,200 mt from last Friday (July 1) and 10,700 mt from Monday (July 4).

According to SMM, the consumption of the lead-acid battery slowly improved. At the same time, as the maintenance of primary lead and secondary lead completed, the supply increased, especially in Anhui. Therefore, the regional supply difference in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai eased to a certain extent. In addition, as the delivery time approached, cargo holders actively delivered the SHFE contact. Therefore, the lead ingots were shipped from the plants to the social warehouses, and the social inventory of lead ingots rose sharply.
