As of January 24, 2025, the finished product inventories of secondary lead smelters stood at 15,480 mt, an increase of 3,720 mt WoW. Downstream battery producers have mostly entered the holiday mode, with limited procurement during the week. While most domestic secondary lead smelters have halted production for maintenance or reduced production in preparation for the holiday, some smelters continued normal operations. However, due to limited supply, the inventory buildup of secondary lead remains low.
