Today, the SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price was 77,721 yuan/mt; battery-grade lithium carbonate was 77,100-78,700 yuan/mt, with an average price of 77,900 yuan/mt; industrial-grade lithium carbonate was 74,250-75,250 yuan/mt, with an average price of 74,750 yuan/mt.

As the Chinese New Year holiday approaches, some logistics operations have already ceased, and only a few transactions for just-in-time procurement and stockpiling have occurred. Therefore, the transaction activity of lithium carbonate in the spot market this week weakened compared to the previous week. The psychological price expectations of upstream and downstream players fluctuated relatively little, and the price center of lithium carbonate in the spot market this week remained stable, showing slight fluctuations within a range.

After the Chinese New Year holiday, demand is expected to gradually recover. Considering the progress of long-term order signing, the lithium carbonate spot market is expected to remain relatively active, with a slight upward potential in spot prices.
