Qingna Technology Raises Over 100 Million Yuan in Pre-A Round for Sodium-Ion Battery Expansion

[Qingna Technology Secures Over 100 Million Yuan in Pre-A Round Financing] Recently, Qingna Technology successfully secured over 100 million yuan in Pre-A round financing, led by Yunhe Fangyuan. The funds will primarily be used for the construction of a 2GWh large cylindrical sodium-ion battery mass production line, as well as for R&D and operational investments.

Qingna Technology has already established a 200MWh pilot production line in Anji, Huzhou, and invested 5 billion yuan to build a 10GWh mass production line in Guangde, Anhui. In December 2023, the company officially commenced the construction of the first-phase 2GWh sodium-ion battery mass production line. Within six months, the main structures of the office building and factory were topped out. The first batch of sodium-ion battery cell production equipment was installed and commissioned ahead of schedule in October last year, and the 2GWh production line is expected to commence operation in March this year.
