【SMM Lithium Carbonate Futures Review: LC2505 Most-Traded Contract Rose 1.24%】 On January 15, the lithium carbonate 2505 most-traded contract rose 1.24%. According to data, the lithium carbonate 2505 most-traded contract opened at 78,880 yuan/mt and closed at 80,260 yuan/mt, with a trading volume of 320,628 lots and an open interest of 243,381 lots, an increase of 24,170 lots compared to the previous trading day. SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate spot prices for the day were 76,000–78,100 yuan/mt, with an average price of 70,050 yuan/mt, showing a slight rise compared to the previous working day. From the trend, lithium carbonate prices opened lower on the day, experienced a brief fluctuation after the opening, then surged significantly, followed by fluctuations and a decline in the afternoon. Prices remained volatile until the close, with a slight rise near the end, ultimately closing up 1.24%.
