China Publishes First Technical Guidelines for Emergency Supplies in Electrochemical Energy Storage Stations

**[China Releases the First Technical Guidelines for Emergency Supplies for Electrochemical Energy Storage Stations]** SMM has learned that the national standard "Technical Guidelines for Emergency Supplies for Electrochemical Energy Storage Stations," led by State Grid Zhenjiang Electric Power Supply Company, has been approved for publication and will officially take effect on May 1, 2025.

It is reported that in January of this year, the National Technical Committee on Electric Power Energy Storage Standardization of the Standardization Administration of China issued a nationwide plan to formulate the "Technical Guidelines for Emergency Supplies for Electrochemical Energy Storage Stations." This represents the first technical guideline formulated in China for emergency supplies for electrochemical energy storage stations. It standardizes the entire process management of emergency supplies for electrochemical energy storage stations, including their allocation, application, maintenance, storage, and disposal. The guidelines clarify the use of fire emergency supplies for different types of batteries, the storage locations for emergency supplies in energy storage stations at various locations, and the usage procedures for emergency supplies in energy storage stations with different duty systems.
