Iran's Aluminum Production Declines in First Seven Months, But Bauxite and Alumina Output Rises

According to data from Iran's Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), Iran's aluminum ingot production in the first seven months was 352,423 tonnes, a decline from 367,091 tonnes in the same period last year. In terms of aluminum ingot production, Southern Aluminium Company (SALCO) contributed 144,496 tonnes, Iran Aluminium Company (IRALCO) produced 100,998 tonnes, Almahdi Aluminium produced 87,227 tonnes, and Iran Alumina Company's output was 19,702 tonnes.

Moreover, in terms of bauxite and alumina production, Iran Alumina Company achieved 459,409 tonnes of bauxite, 138,859 tonnes of alumina, and 232,851 tonnes of aluminium hydroxide in the first seven months, marking year-on-year growth rates of 2%, 2%, and 40% respectively.
