RMB 340 Million Waste Lithium-ion Battery Recycling Project Announced in Hubei's Jingmen

【Announcement of a RMB 340 Million Waste Lithium-ion Battery Resource Recycling Project in Jingmen, Hubei】On September 26, the environmental impact assessment of the waste lithium-ion battery material resource recycling project of Hubei Zhongmai New Materials Co., Ltd. was publicly announced.

Project Location: Songhe Fine Chemical Industry Park, Jingshan City, Jingmen, Hubei Province

Construction Content: The project plans to invest RMB 340 million and covers an area of approximately 65 acres. It primarily involves the construction of battery dismantling workshops, anode and cathode recovery workshops, electrolyte recovery workshops, lithium recovery workshops, raw material and finished product warehouses, substations, energy storage stations, hazardous chemical storage areas, and office buildings. The annual production capacity includes 20,000 tons of recycled lithium iron phosphate cathodes, 20,000 tons of recycled graphite anodes, and the capability to dismantle and recycle 10,000 tons of end-of-life batteries.
