DMC prices will stabilise until mid-June as DMC plants are less willing to sell at a discount

At the beginning of the week, online DMC prices of enterprises in Shandong were 13,400 yuan/mt, flat WoW. DMC offers by leading enterprises stayed steady, with the current quotation at 13,900 yuan/mt. DMC quotations by other domestic enterprises were also generally stable, with the current mainstream transaction prices at 13,400-13,600 yuan/mt.

SMM believes that DMC prices will stabilise until mid-June. Recently, domestic downstream demand has weakened, but after concentrated procurement in mid-May, the inventory of DMC plants quickly fell. Therefore, DMC plants will be less willing to sell at a discount, leading to stable prices.
