Zinc Ingot Social Inventory in SMM Seven Regions Decreased by 2,500 mt

According to an SMM survey, as of Monday (May 27), the total zinc ingot inventory in seven regions surveyed by SMM was 210,400 mt, down by 5,400 mt from May 20 and down by 2,500 mt from May 23. Shanghai saw a significant reduction in inventory, with normal domestic arrivals over the weekend, but a large outflow of imported zinc ingots led to a noticeable inventory reduction. Guangdong's inventory decreased due to fewer arrivals at warehouses over the weekend and continuous downstream delivery-taking. Tianjin's inventory increased, with normal arrivals at warehouses over the weekend and on-demand purchases amid high zinc prices. Overall, the original three regions' inventory decreased by 1,900 mt.
