Guangyuan Releases Carbon Peak Plan to Promote Clean Energy

The city of Guangyuan in Sichuan recently released the "Guangyuan Carbon Peak Implementation Plan", which emphasizes the strengthening of energy saving and carbon reduction in new infrastructure. The plan proposes the use of direct current power supply, distributed energy storage, and "photovoltaic + energy storage" models to promote the construction of integrated solar and energy storage charging stations, and to explore diversified energy supply to increase the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption. By 2025, the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption in the city will reach around 54.5%, and the total installed capacity of new energy power generation in the city will reach 2 million kilowatts; by 2030, the total installed capacity of new energy power generation in the city will reach around 3 million kilowatts.
