It was reported that on the morning of December 24th, the new production line for 530Ah energy storage batteries of CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited) started operation.
CATL also launched the second phase of the lithium-ion battery production project in Zhaoqing, Guangdong, which is not only a supplement to the first phase of production capacity and the deep exploration of the industrial chain, but also a preparation for the large-scale production of new energy storage products, including 530Ah energy storage batteries.
Currently, mainstream batteries in the market are still primarily 280Ah, with a penetration rate of over 80% in large-scale energy storage. However, starting this year, various companies have begun to introduce energy storage large batteries with a capacity of 300Ah or higher.
