On August 29th, DeFu Technology disclosed its first half-year report after listing, and announced its plan to use the excess raised funds to build a wholly-owned subsidiary, HuPo New Materials, with an annual output of 50,000 tons of high-grade copper foil project.
DeFu Technology achieved a total operating income of 2.931 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.41%; a net profit of 55.5648 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 78.79%; and basic earnings per share of 0.15 yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 77.94%.
According to the half-year report, the operating income of DeFu Technology's electronic circuit copper foil products increased by 40.27% year-on-year in the first half of this year, while the operating income of lithium battery copper foil products decreased by 4.44% year-on-year. During the period, the gross profit margins of the company's two major product segments both showed a significant year-on-year decrease, with the gross profit of electronic circuit copper foil products decreasing by 9.07%, and the gross profit of lithium battery copper foil products decreasing by 13.07%.
