Pure Nickel Social Inventory Across China Falls Slightly

SHANGHAI, Apr 10 (SMM) - Pure nickel inventory in six regions across China dipped 299 mt from the previous Friday to 4,752 mt as of April 7. The inventory of nickel briquettes was 400 mt, up 240 mt WoW, and that of nickel plates was 4,352 mt, down 59 mt WoW. Losses of nickel sulphate produced with nickel briquettes were offset by the profits gained from precursor, thus some producers in the new energy sector still processed nickel sulphate with nickel briquettes on MHP or scrap shortages.
