SHANGHAI, Apr 4 (SMM) - PrNd oxide prices fell sharply last week. PrNd oxide prices dropped last week from 555,000-560,000 yuan/mt to 520,000-525,000 yuan/mt, a drop of 6%. The mainstream prices of PrNd alloy were also lowered from 670,000-680,000 yuan/mt to 634,000-640,000 yuan/mt, down 5.6%.
The price decline of PrNd products accelerated last week and the prices are unlikely to decline further since they were close to the cost. At present, the prices has stopped falling and increased slightly. However, the new downstream orders are still few, and thus most market players are wait-and-see.
