Operating Rate of Zinc Oxide in Feb Increased MoM and YoY

SHANGHAI, Mar 16 (SMM) - According to SMM survey, the average operating rate of zinc oxide enterprises across old SMM survey sample stood at 39.24% in February, up 19.98 percentage points from the previous month and 8.2 percentage points year on year. The production capacity across 64 new sample producers surveyed by SMM stood at 979,400 mt, with operating rates rising 22.61 percentage points month on month to 48.71%. On the whole, the operating rates of zinc oxide enterprises surveyed by SMM rose in Februray from January. The average operating rate of large enterprises with annual capacity of and above 20,000 mt was 52.11%, an increase of 25.81 percentage points from the previous month; the average operating rate of medium-sized enterprises with annual capacity of 10,000-20,000 mt was 39.33%, an increase of 13.66 percentage points; the average operating rate of small enterprises with annual capacity of less than 10,000 mt was 51.89%, an increase of 25.85 percentage points.
