Shandong Province to Raise Funds of Nearly 400 Million Yuan to Boost Consumption

According to news on February 8, Shandong Provincial Finance will raise funds of 396 million yuan, focusing on supporting the commercial circulation and cultural tourism fields to promote consumption incentives and subsidy policies and guiding support for economic recovery as well as boosting consumption. Wang Yuanqiang, deputy director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Finance, introduced that Shandong will guide cities and counties to adopt measures such as issuing car and catering consumption coupons, implementing ticket reduction and exemption, holding consumption promotion activities, and creating consumer platform carriers through reward and subsidy policies to stimulate the demand for automobiles, home appliances, wholesale and retail, accommodation, cultural tourism, etc.
