Before putting into production the first phase production line of the 30000 tons of new energy anode material project, the company has advanced graphitization production line, but it is only engaged in the production and sales of a single graphite electrode.

According to the on-site interview, the production line heats the graphite crucible of raw material petroleum coke in a graphitization furnace at a temperature of 3000 ℃ for 20 hours. After a seemingly simple process, the resistivity and ash content of the final product are reduced. Using it as a lithium battery anode material can not only further improve the battery kinetic energy, but also more environmentally friendly than the battery negative electrode formed in other ways.

According to Huang Mingsheng, deputy general manager of the company, after the first phase of the production line was put into production, the company has received orders by the end of 2022, totaling 16000 tons, mostly from coastal areas.

After the first phase of the project is put into production, in the next step, the Eastern District will also use the power supply capacity, land reserves and auxiliary facilities reserved by Muhua Company to carry out the second phase of construction, and finally reach the production scale of graphitization of negative electrode materials with an annual output of 30000 tons. to help the development of new energy industry in Panzhihua City.
