Inventories of aluminium billet in China increased this week due to increased arrivals.

SHANGHAI, Sep 17 (SMM) – Inventories of aluminium billet in China increased this week due to increased arrivals.

 

SMM data showed that aluminium billet stocks across the five major consumption areas — Foshan, Wuxi, Huzhou, Changzhou and Nanchang — in China built up 4,000 mt from a week ago to 67,600 mt as of Thursday September 17.

 

Inventories in Foshan and Nanchang accumulated week on week, while stocks in Wuxi, Changzhou, and Huzhou declined.
