Primary aluminium inventories fell 76,000 mt over weekend

Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots continued to trend lower over the weekend, as demand remained robust and arrivals were subdued.

SHANGHAI, Apr 27 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots continued to trend lower over the weekend, as demand remained robust and arrivals were subdued.

 

SMM data showed that stocks across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 76,000 mt from last Thursday April 23 to 1.283 million mt as of Monday April 27.

 

Details:

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 562,000 mt

Shanghai – 161,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 265,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 94,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 125,000 mt

Tianjin – 54,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 8,000 mt

Chongqing –14,000 mt
