SHANGHAI, Apr 23 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots in China registered another sharp decline, as demand remained strong amid weak arrivals.
SMM data showed that social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 136,000 mt in the week ended April 23 to 1.359 million mt, after a decline of 112,000 mt in the previous week.
The stocks have fallen for three weeks in a row as demand picked up.
