[SMM Aluminum Flash] Guinea's bauxite port departures in May fell 21.1% MoM, with YoY growth rate narrowing to 10.9%

According to SMM analysis, in May 2026, port departures of Guinean bauxite from main ports totaled 17.5 million mt, down 21.1% MoM, with the YoY growth rate narrowing to 10.9%. As a result, China’s port arrivals of Guinean bauxite are expected to begin declining from June to July.
