【The innovative demonstration project of combined compressed air and lithium battery grid-side shared energy storage station in Tongwei County is successfully connected to the grid】On February 28th, the lithium battery system of the innovative demonstration project of combined compressed air and lithium battery grid-side shared energy storage station in Tongwei County, a key supported project of the National Energy Administration, was successfully connected to the grid. The project is located in Dongguan Village, Maying Town, with a total investment of 3.96 billion yuan and a total area of 82.86 acres. It is the first energy storage project in the country that combines compressed air with lithium batteries. The project is owned by Gansu Jiangneng Xiangyuan Smart Energy Co., Ltd. The project is constructed using the combined compressed air and lithium battery energy storage method, with a total installed capacity of 50 MW/200 MWh.
