Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In recent days, BYD announced the official opening of its new showroom in Asunción, the capital of Paraguay, according to a post on BYD's WeChat account.
At the opening ceremony, the all-new BYD Tang EV officially went on sale in the local market, marking BYD's commitment to the continuous innovation in the field of new energy vehicles (NEVs) and sustainable development.
BYD's partnership with DIESA Group, a key player in the private sector for charging station construction in Paraguay, was highlighted during the inauguration. Miguel Carrizosa, President of DIESA Group, stated at the ceremony, "BYD and DIESA Group have been dedicated to advancing sustainable transportation in Paraguay. As one of the largest private companies in the country engaged in the construction of charging stations, DIESA Group has invested in over 30 charging stations across multiple cities, injecting robust momentum into local green transportation development."
The all-new BYD Tang EV retains the iconic Dragon Face design of the BYD family, featuring a new low-resistance closed-off front end. In terms of interior space, the flagship 7-seat cabin offers flexible configurations and incorporates BYD’s intelligent cockpit system, creating a "third living space" for consumers. Performance-wise, the all-new Tang EV boasts an impressive range of 530 km (WLTC conditions) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Additionally, equipped with the DiSus C intelligent damping body control system, the model maintains smooth stability even on uneven road surfaces.
