CPCA: From August 1 to 20, the retail volume of passenger car market was 947,000 units, an increase of 5% YoY

According to the data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), from August 1 to 20, the retail volume of passenger car market was 947,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 5% and a month-on-month increase of 1%. Since this year, a total of 12.244 million cars have been retailed, a year-on-year increase of 2%. Passenger car manufacturers across the country wholesaled 1.006 million vehicles, an increase of 8% YoY, and an increase of 0% MoM. A total of 14.136 million vehicles have been wholesaled this year, an increase of 7% YoY.
