SHANGHAI, May 7 (SMM) – Inventories of refined nickel in the Shanghai bonded areas remained unchanged from a week ago and stood at 9,300 mt as of May 7, showed SMM data.
Import loss of nickel plates expanded as the domestic market was closed during the holiday, and LME nickel rose sharply during this period. Therefore, foreign trade in bonded area was tepid this week, and Shanghai bonded refined nickel stocks remained flat for the third consecutive week.
