






SHANGHAI, Nov. 4 (SMM) -- LME lead prices reported a decline of USD 25/mt during the first two trading days of this week amid cautious market sentiment. Technically, LME lead prices will show positive performance in the short term, but will still face great pressure to break through the previous high level.
The US stock markets dropped, and Dow Jones index closed down 17.53 points; the US dollar continued to grow; COMEX gold prices soared to a new high of USD 1,088.5/oz, exceeding the previous high recorded on October 14th, due to the gold sell-off activities by IMF, and COMEX gold for December delivery closed at USD 1,084.9/oz, up USD 30.9/oz, and silver for December delivery closed at USD 17.18/oz, up Cents 70/oz. NYMEX crude oil for December delivery closed at USD 79.6/brarrel, up USD 1.47/barrel.
Domestic spot lead prices are expected to move in the RMB 115,600-5,700/mt range today.
