






SHANGHAI, Oct. 28 (SMM) -- North China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 46,100-46,400/mt, offers for copper rod in Tianjin city advanced timely, while scrap copper prices were relatively lower in Hebei province, and transactions remained weak.
East China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 46,800-47,000/mt, although copper prices climbed, the buying interest was lower than Monday levels, and the wait-and-see sentiment dominated the market.
South China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 47,000-47,200/mt, offers quoted by traders were higher upon optimistic market outlook, while buyers took a more cautious view, leading to neutral transactions.
