






SHANGHAI, Oct. 13 (SMM) -- North China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 44,300-44,600/mt, weak sales of copper rod using scrap copper as raw materials exerted negative impact on bright scrap copper consumption, resulting in low buying interest, and the trading sentiment was slim as well.
East China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 44,900-45,200/mt, market supply was a little tight, and traders were reluctant to sell goods, while downstream purchasing sentiment remained low with the absence of clear market direction, resulting in lackluster trading activity.
South China, today #1 scrap copper was traded at RMB 45,400-45,600/mt, scrap copper prices remained stable, limiting trading volumes as well. Buyers were confused about market outlook, and trading sentiment was weak.
