






SHANGHAI, Oct. 13 (SMM) -- East China, traded prices were in the RMB 48,900-49,100/mt range in Shanghai region today. Copper prices dipped slightly in the afternoon, and the downstream purchasing interest was low, resulting in neutral transactions. Traded prices were in the RMB 49,000-49,200/mt range in Shandong region. Copper prices fluctuated, and downstream manufacturers purchased on as-needed basis, leading to general transactions.
South China, traded prices were in the RMB 48,900-49,100/mt range. Market supply was relatively sufficient, and scrap copper prices were weak. Meanwhile, the buying interest was low, so transactions were very limited.
North China, traded prices were RMB 48,800-49,000/mt. Higher prices limited the purchasing interest, and downstream manufacturers remained cautious as well, so the trading sentiment was lukewarm.
